As a Senior Network Engineer...
- Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise network architectures.
- Lead the planning and execution of network infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
- Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to safeguard against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance network performance and reliability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the networking team.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and applications.
- Conduct regular performance monitoring and capacity planning to ensure optimal network operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues, including outages and performance degradation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and emergency response.
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years experience in network engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRRP, and HSRP.
- Extensive experience with network hardware and software from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Arista.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale network solutions in enterprise environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Are able to obtain a Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

- Have experience working with Arista EOS.
- Have experience working with/maintaining SolarWinds.
- Have relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.
